Some historical notes: I think you'll find the long-bow was pretty rare in England until after 1300, when it was adopted from the Welsh. cholera, typhoid, and tb were still major killers and if
anything growing worse as London grew; disease theory is more of a 19th century idea, and of course trains only get started in the 1820s (even regular coach service was less than 60 years old in
1692! the first decent steam engine was still more than 10 years in the future. Singapore was founded in 1819.
